Group coaching: Practice development and practitioner support

Established in 2025, we exist to advance the clarity, rigour, and professional standards of group coaching worldwide. We deepen the understanding and practice of group coaching by integrating research, reflective inquiry, and practitioner wisdom. Our purpose is to be a communication hub and shape group coaching as a relational, ethical, and human-centered discipline that supports meaningful learning and sustainable development.

We connect group coaching research, practice, and education worldwide. Working with EMCC Global countries and regions, we build an international team that reflects members’ experiences. We talk about what makes group coaching distinct and effective across different contexts.

We define standards and capabilities for group coaching, moving beyond competency checklists to what practitioners actually need. We focus on holding complexity, sensing what groups need, making choices in unpredictable moments, and creating psychological safety over time as groups shift and change.

We help practitioners develop what group coaching requires, not just techniques. We examine ethical practice, digital transformation (including AI), and professional development. We support coaches working with shifting relationships, unpredictable interactions, multiple learning goals, and emergent insights.
