Italy-based Coaching You has been awarded an EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) at Foundation level for its Coaching You School programme.
Director and trainer Chiara Zerbini said the programme was designed for people who want to make coaching their profession, as well as professionals and people managers who want to bring coaching skills into their roles in an ethical, structured way. The programme blends theory with what Chiara describes as a strong “learning by doing” approach.
The curriculum covers core coaching competences, contracting and boundaries, presence and listening, powerful questioning, goal setting, and accountability. Chiara said that from the start, participants practise with real conversations, receive feedback, and develop reflective habits that help them improve session after session.
The programme also addresses what the team calls the “inner work” of becoming a coach: professional identity, mindset, and the ability to stay grounded and effective in complex situations. Chiara said the learning design is built on validated theoretical models and is continuously linked to observable behaviours, so participants know what “good” looks like and how to grow toward it.
The team said they are particularly proud of the learning environment, which they describe as challenging and supportive, with a strong focus on ethics, quality, and real capability rather than just knowledge.
Because the programme has now been awarded an EQA, its graduates will be able to apply for their own EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) at Foundation level automatically, with their individual awards applied on completion of the appropriate coaching experience.
Chiara said: “For me, EMCC Global accreditation is a public commitment to quality, ethics, and professional rigour. It means our programme has been independently reviewed against an international standard, and that our learners can trust the learning journey they invest in. It also keeps us accountable to continuous improvement, so we keep raising the bar on practice, reflection, and impact.”
We congratulate Chiara and the team on this achievement.
