Master Practitioner accreditation for Becky Hall

Many congratulations to systemic coach and author Becky Hall, whose impact on her clients and on the broader coaching and mentoring profession has been recognised with an EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) at Master Practitioner level.

Becky, author of The Art of Enough and Faculty member of Coaching Constellations, has made a significant contribution to the profession – a key requirement for Master Practitioner level. Among her achievements, Becky has developed new system-wide coaching approaches to management for clients and has developed, shared and built on knowledge to profound depths, connecting with peers using written, spoken, online and broadcast media for deep engagement.

Reflecting on her coaching approach and accreditation, UK-based Becky said:

“The thread that brings it together for me is something about listening to the whole body, being somatic. I’m a systemic practitioner, and my book is based on that; it’s about the patterns that I’ve seen in my coaching over the years.

“Coaching, for me, is less about what I know and the models that I know; it’s more about my state and my stance and my ability to tune into my whole system. It’s how I show up, how I listen, it’s how I respond to people and what I offer in that space.

“And the other aspect is continuing to learn. I love learning things, and I’m always doing something that deepens my practice.”

As well as her book, Becky has contributed to multiple articles and podcasts, and given keynote presentations for leaders and peers.

It is important for her, for the profession, and for the reassurance for clients and organisations that practitioner seek accreditation.

“I really like EMCC Global,” she said. “I buy into their competencies, and I also really like and use their code of ethics. So the EMCC Global accreditation really matters to me, because I think it gives my clients a level of reassurance that they are working with somebody who takes this really seriously and is recognised by an external body. I aim  to be authentic in everything I do, and I really care that I am in service of my clients.”

The Master Practitioner accreditation builds on the Senior Practitioner accreditation, with additional experience and clients and with demonstration of contribution to the profession.

Because of her exemplary record-keeping for client logs and her commitment to ongoing supervision, Becky’s application process was completed relatively quickly. Each Master Practitioner application, because it is so individual, is overseen by a high-level EMCC Global assessor and verifier.

EMCC Global recognises all prior learning and development, irrespective of provider, and the impact of learning and reflection is often brought out in professional dialogue with an assessor.

Our assessors said: “Becky’s strong commitment and obvious impact really shines through. We are proud to have her within the EMCC Global Master Practitioner family and look forward to her ongoing engagement in the EMCC Global community.”
