Congratulations Piotr Ciacek

Apr 2, 2025

Business leader Piotr Ciacek – who has trained more than 280 mentors and counting – has gained EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) at Master Practitioner level.

Piotr combines over 35 years’ business experience with a deep commitment to mentoring, coaching, and education. He has contributed significantly to embedding professional mentoring practices in Poland and beyond. A contribution of this scale is a key requirement for Master Practitioner level.

As the founder of STIBITZ and its Mentoring Academy, he brought the first EMCC-accredited EQA mentoring programs in Poland, training mentors at both Foundation and Practitioner levels.

He has published four books on mentoring: Being a Mentor – Why It’s Worth It (2020); Mentoring – The Operation Guide (2021); 12 Dysfunctions in the Mentoring Process (2022): and Business Mentoring: Practically (2024). These theoretical explorations are practical guides for mentors at all stages of their development. They are tangible examples of his mission to enhance the quality of mentoring in Poland and promote EMCC standards.

Piotr writes: “Achieving the EMCC Master Practitioner accreditation confirms that I am fulfilling the mission I deeply believe in—promoting mentoring in Poland not just as a professional practice, but as a vital leadership and relationship tool.

“This recognition motivates me to contribute new ideas to a living methodology. I deeply appreciate EMCC’s openness to evolution and shared knowledge—it gives me joy and inspires me to keep building.”

He operates across multiple fields—leading EQA-accredited courses with the STIBITZ Mentoring Academy, collaborating with the Foundation for Business Leaders (Fundacja Liderek Biznesu), organiser of Poland’s largest pro bono mentoring program, and serving as a Partner for the School of Business Mentors (Szkoła Mentorów Biznesu) under the same foundation.

Over the past six years, he has delivered over 18 editions of the Mentor Foundation EQA programs and five editions of the Practitioner-level EQA programs. On top of that, he has designed tailored mentoring programs for organisations of various scales and industries, successfully delivering over 30 customised programs to date— all aligned with EMCC standards—for major organisations including Unilever, BOSCH, BGK, mBank, DZP, VELO Bank, and UPM, ensuring that mentoring is deeply integrated into company cultures.

His mentoring philosophy is built on the pillars of freedom, responsibility, and trust, enabling mentees to gain insight into their own agency, self-awareness, and decision-making processes. He integrates systemic analysis, coaching techniques, and positive psychology into a robust model grounded in ethical responsibility and inclusion.

Denise Whitworth, EMCC Global VP Accreditation and Membership, said: “Piotr’s considerable efforts are noteworthy, and I am pleased to say he has been awarded Master Practitioner accreditation.”
