A psychologist with nearly 30 years’ experience has been recognised with an EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) at Master Practitioner level.
Gerard Dekkers is the founder of the Netherlands-based MentesMe – a provider of customised mentoring within organisations – his curiosity about human development saw him specialise in methodologies such as EMDR, EFT, Heart Coherence, and Internal Family Systems.
He created his own cognitive activation method, the MentesMe iGrow method, which forms the basis of his EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) accredited Foundation and Practitioner training programmes. Altogether, his work has significantly contributed to the profession – a key requirement for Master Practitioner level.
Gerard writes: “As I refined and expanded my methodologies, I wanted to benchmark them against the highest global standards. EMCC Global was the only organisation that truly aligned with my vision and commitment to excellence.
“The journey toward Master Practitioner accreditation and our EQA accreditation has been a profoundly enriching experience, and I look forward to actively contributing to the EMCC Global community.
“Our iGROW method integrates the well-established GROW model with personal communication styles, while our Social Communication Styles methodology provides a 360-degree assessment framework to enhance interpersonal effectiveness. We focus on continuous learning, growth, and judgment-free communication, values that have helped us support organisations like Pegasystems and De Heus Animal Nutrition in building impactful mentoring programs.
