A partnership of three experienced coach supervisors based in northern and southern hemispheres have secured an EMCC Global Supervision Quality Award.

Judith Underhill and Mike Clark of Coaching Bridge, based in the UK, and Joanne Searle, of The Sandton Coaching Centre, in South Africa, work together to offer professional supervision training to small groups as part of their new Diploma in Coaching SUPER-Vision programme, which can be found here. The trio now intend to deliver a minimum of four Diploma cohorts each year to experienced coaches across the world who are looking to develop their practice as coach supervisors.
The EMCC Global Supervision Quality Award (ESQA) is for training providers who can meet our high standards in the programmes they provide for those who supervise the practice of others. In turn, because we are assured that the content and delivery of the programme is to the standard we expect, all the graduates of the programme are automatically eligible to apply for their own EMCC Global Supervision Individual Accreditation (ESIA) upon completion of their practice hours.
Ongoing supervision is a requirement for coaches and mentors to maintain EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA), and so we look forward to the programme’s graduates further supporting individual practitioners and maintaining the professionalism of their practice.
Based in Johannesburg, Joanne Searle, has 17 years’ experience of executive coaching, professional coaching supervision and coach supervisor training. She is a EMCC Global Master Practitioner and holds an EMCC Global Supervision Individual Accreditation (ESIA) at Master Practitioner level.
England-based Judith Underhill is an APECS Accredited Master Executive Coach and APECS Accredited Master Supervisor as well as EMCC Global Supervision Individual Accreditation (ESIA). Her colleague Mike Clark is also an APECS Accredited Master Executive Coach and holds an EMCC Global Supervision Individual Accreditation (ESIA).
Both Judith and Mike are currently progressing their EMCC Global Master Practitioner level accreditations.
Judith, Mike and Joanne said: “We are absolutely delighted that EMCC ESQA accreditation recognizes the quality and rigor of our coach supervision training by our unique partnership.
“This milestone reaffirms our commitment to excellence and strengthens our ability to develop the next generation of highly skilled, reflective and reflexive, and ethical coach supervisors around the world.
“As we celebrate this achievement, we are excited to take the next steps in expanding our Diploma program, deepening our impact, and continuing to raise the standards of coach supervision. We look forward to engaging with our community and welcoming future cohorts with a globally recognized and diverse training experience!”
Congratulating the partners, Denise Whitworth, EMCC Global VP Accreditation and Membership, said:
“The trust and agreement between the partners is mutual. There is a very clear commitment and dedication to ensuring that their participants are receiving a valuable learning experience that best equips them as professional supervisors upon graduation.”
