Congratulations to LKB Mentor Academy, for the quality and content of the Poland-based training provider’s Akademia Mentora programme has been awarded an EMCC Global Quality Award at Foundation level.
The conferring of the award also means that all the provider’s programme graduates are automatically eligible to apply for their own EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA), as we are satisifed that everything they have learned in the programme meets the high standards we expect for a professional mentor.
In assessing the application, our assessors noted the good structure of the four-module programme. its good balance between theory and practice, and its alignment with EQF level 3 and EMCC Global Competence framework at Foundation level. They concluded that the 39-hour programme is adequately balanced to theory, skill practice, reflection and plan process with skill practice balance both in class and outside with real clients.
Importantly, the Global Code of Ethics form part of curriculum which also includes 4.5 supervision hours (group supervision of 3.5 hours and one 1-1 supervision) to delegates covered within the class.
Programme Co-ordinator Andrzej Cieplak said:
“The award of EQA accreditation from EMCC Global is the culmination of five years of work for the LKB Mentor Academy to create and develop the mentoring course. The accreditation confirms that we have achieved a high standard of mentor training and that our graduates are gaining the competencies that enable them to provide professional mentoring. The sixth and subsequent editions, are editions with the EMCC Global’s Quality Award.”
