With the refresh of the Global Code of Ethics early in 2026, the EMCC Global Climate Action and Sustainability Centre for Excellence felt timely to consider what this might mean with respect to sustainability. This is not a definitive position statement, but a provocation to invite reflection. We offer the following documents.
The White Paper: A substantive professional guide that examines each of the five core values in the Global Code of Ethics through the dual lens of ethical obligation and integral ecology.
The Appendix (as a standalone companion document): A practical resource containing case studies that bring the White Paper to life, alongside additional tools and resources for members who want to take more concrete steps toward sustainable practice.
