Ireland’s Kingstown College has been awarded an EMCC Global Supervision Quality Award (ESQA) at Practitioner level for its Professional Diploma in Coaching Supervision, with programme delivery extending internationally.
Director Dr Paula King described the programme as designed for experienced coaches seeking to deepen their reflective practice and support the development of other practitioners. The college reports that it attracts participants from diverse professional backgrounds who want to elevate coaching quality within their organisations or private practice.
Paula and the team’s teaching approach blends academic foundations with experiential and relational learning. The course draws on multiple supervision models, reflective inquiry and systems thinking, with participants engaging in practice-based supervision, live demonstrations and collaborative learning circles throughout.
Paula said the programme emphasises personal development alongside professional skill-building, and noted that graduates consistently report significant shifts in how they approach their work as practitioners and leaders.
Because the programme has now been awarded an ESQA, its graduates will be eligible for their own EMCC Global Supervision Individual Accreditation (ESIA) at Practitioner level once they have achieved their required practice hours.
