At the EMCC Global Mentoring Centre for Excellence (CfE), we are committed to advancing mentoring as a catalyst for the continuous growth of mentees, mentors, and organisations.
I am Rossella Pin, the Lead of the Mentoring CfE, and it is my pleasure to present our key initiatives for 2025:
✅ Mentoring Competencies – We are enhancing mentoring capabilities by defining and refining the distinctive competencies of mentors aligned with the four levels of EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA).
✅ Mentoring Conference – We are designing a must-attend live event where mentoring professionals will connect and shape the future of mentoring through knowledge-sharing, research, and innovation. This will be preceded by quarterly exclusive interviews featuring leading mentors who are making a significant impact.
✅ Mentoring Community – We are mapping mentoring expertise across regions to build a dynamic, supportive network where professional mentors, programme managers, and stakeholders can exchange experiences, develop best practices, and advocate for mentoring worldwide.
Mentoring is more than a set of skills; it is a movement of generous individuals who share their knowledge, embody EMCC Global values, and act as role models.
The Mentoring Centre for Excellence is committed to shining a light on mentors and their contributions, ensuring they are recognised, valued, and elevated within the professional community.
💬 So let me end this post by sharing what motivated me to take on the role of Lead of the Centre for Excellence. It is my way of giving back the precious gift I received from my mentor and great mentoring expert, Rita Knott. She introduced me to EMCC and invited me to contribute to the foundation of EMCC Italy, opening the door to a world of meaningful mentoring connections. This role allows me to continue that journey by supporting and growing the mentoring community.
