Praktická psychologie, based in the Czech Republic, has been awarded an EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) at Practitioner level for its Koučovací výcvik (Coaching Training) programme.
The programme’s lecturing team brings expertise from across different fields of psychology, which founder Michal Hummel describes as central to their approach. The training attracts participants from varied backgrounds: psychology students, managers, lecturers, teachers and social workers have all completed the programme, learning to integrate coaching skills into their existing professional roles.
In developing their methodology, the team prioritised creating a safe, trusting learning environment. Their aim, said Michal, is to help participants master core coaching competencies while finding a coaching style that feels natural to them.
Because the programme has now been awarded an EQA, its graduates will be able to apply for their own EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) at Practitioner level automatically, with their individual awards applied on completion of the appropriate coaching experience.
The accreditation was led by Michal Hummel, with Libor Komárek and Markéta Kabátová coordinating the application materials and communications. The entire lecturing team contributed to meeting accreditation standards.
Michal said: “I am thrilled that our Koučovací výcvik by Praktická psychologie has received EMCC Global accreditation. Together with my fellow lecturers, we have nurtured this programme with love since its very first steps, always striving to make it better. It has grown thanks to the feedback from our students, the care of our lecturers, and the energy of the entire team, who pour both their hearts and professionalism into it.
“With this EMCC Global accreditation, our training has symbolically come of age. It has become a grown-up programme that meets international standards and stands on the values of ethics, respect for diversity, and professional quality. We believe that these very principles help create a safe and inspiring space for anyone who decides to embark on a coaching journey.”
We congratulate Michal and the team on this achievement.
