EMCC Global recognises the importance of the Global commitments made at the 2015 Paris summit to limit the rise in global temperature to 1.5 degrees centigrade.
We want to understand how coaching, mentoring and supervision professions may continue to develop. To that end, over 2022-23, we have undertaken an extensive piece of research with our members to establish what they think about the role of coaches, mentors and supervisors in climate action.
Over 50% thought that coaches, mentors and supervisors have an active role in raising awareness and creating insight on the implications of client choices. This is not about imposing personal views, but about working systemically and playing a part in delivering UN Sustainable Development Goals.
