Programme accreditation for Fiona Day Consulting

EMCC Global Master Practitioner Dr Fiona Day has achieved an EMCC Global Quality Award for the programme she developed at Fiona Day Consulting to help healthcare leaders develop and apply coaching skills.

The Foundation Coaching Skills for Health Leaders course is for senior doctors and public health leaders who manage, supervise or appraise staff and/or lead teams. As well as gaining valuable insights and leadership skills, because EMCC Global is already reassured of the quality of the training, graduates of the programme can also gain further experience and apply for their own EMCC Global Individual Accreditation as a coaching practitioner.

Fiona, a specialist in public health, is a Chartered Coaching Psychologist and an Approved Executive Coach with the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management. She said:

“I am a senior doctor and medical leader by background and have always sought to ensure that my coaching practice was as professional as my medical practice. I want my coaching clients and my coaching learners to have full confidence in the academic rigour, ethics, and quality of my work.

“I wanted to develop my coach training programmes in line with EMCC’s values, ethics and competencies so I am thrilled that my ‘Foundation Coaching Skills for Health Leaders – be a health leader who coaches’ course has received the EMCC Global Quality Award. I look forward to continuing to develop my professional practice as a coach, coaching researcher, coach supervisor, and coach trainer in the future.

“I’m so grateful to the fantastic Accreditation team at EMCC and to my External Verifier for all their help and support.”
